Office Manager

Judy Rivera began with our office as a part time receptionist in March of 2007 and became a full time Financial Coordinator in June of 2007.
  In August of 2008 Judy was promoted to Office Manager, and now oversees the operation of the practice.  Judy is an insurance expert who assists our patients in getting the most out of their dental insurance.

Judy is a graduate of South Grand Prairie High School, class of 2000.   After high school she joined the Air Force where she earned her dental assistant certification in 2001.  In 2010 she graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington.  This happened while Judy also juggled her position at our office, and a busy home life with her husband Ismael and 2 year old daughter Melina.  Judy, Ismael, and Melina reside in Kennedale.




    Appointment Coordinator

Gayle Nelson 

joined our practice in December of 2007.  Gayle is a retired high school business and math teacher who has lived in Arlington for over 30 years.  When she is not at the office her time is occupied by her husband Mike, her two dogs, Scout and Jake, and her ten grandchildren. Gayle will be glad to assist you with scheduling your appointments, and will often be the smiling and friendly face who greets you as you enter our office.

 






Dental Staff 

    Dental Assistant

Freedom Todd 

has been Dr. Nelson’s chair-side assistant for nearly 12 years.  She is a licensed dental assistant by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners and is certified in nitrous oxide monitoring, radiology (x-ray) and CPR. 

Freedom grew up in Crowley and later moved to the Fort Worth Area. She and her husband Terry still live in Fort Worth with their 1 year old daughter Ashlynn, and their two dogs, Macy and Fred.  Freedom strives to make each patient is as comfortable as possible during their dental procedure.  She welcomes each patient with a smile, makes sure all of their questions are answered before, during and after treatment.

 


    Hygienist
  
Terri Evans 

joined our practice full time in 2007.  She has been a licensed Dental Hygienist for 28 years and has worked with Dr. Nelson since 2004.  Terri is a 1980 graduate of Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene in Massachusetts. She has lived in Texas since 1985 and in the HEB area since 1987 with her husband Stan and her two daughters Melissa and Katie.

Terry has served on the Advisory Committee for the Dental Hygiene Program at Tarrant County Junior College since 2003.  She is a member of the Fort Worth Dental Hygiene Association and has served as a delegate for this organization. Her extensive experience is invaluable to our patient's oral health.


    Hygienist

Susie Floyd 

has been working with our office on an as needed basis for about 2 years now.  Over that time she has filled in when Terri was out or when we needed help in the hygiene department. Susie joined our practice part time in 2010 working as our Thursday hygienist.
