Meet the Doctor

Dr. David M. Nelson, D.D.S.

Dr. Nelson grew up in Arlington. He attended Little and Ditto Elementary Schools, Young Junior High, and graduated from Martin High School in 1987. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with an emphasis in physiology in 1992 from the University of Texas at Arlington. In 1994, he was accepted to Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. The next year he married his wife of 26 years, Amy, during spring break from dental school. He graduated from Baylor in 1998 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Amy and Dr. Nelson have a beautiful 20 year old daughter, Emma, and 18 year old triplets, Joe, Anna, and Abby. Dr. Nelson enjoys traveling and spending time with his family, especially in the mountains of Colorado, Utah, and British Columbia. He is an avid mountain biker, skier, fly fisherman, and loves to hike and backpack in the mountains. The Nelson kids are all athletes and his greatest enjoyment comes from watching them play soccer, football, and volleyball.



Dr. Nelson is past President of the Arlington Dental Study Club.  He is also a member of the International Team for Implantology, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Fort Worth District Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
